How did the coffee shop make you feel?

Coffee is the most important part of any attempt to awaken yourself out of your sleep deprived lives right? Wrong. Coffee is simply the product of a bean. What can make or break your coffee drinking experience is the environment in which you drink it.
Aesthetic. Is. Everything.
Now personally, my attuned taste buds desire a certain level of flavorful coffee. But my eyes also require a satisfying environment to look at. I could be drinking the best coffee in the entire world, but if I look around and don't feel some type of way, I don't want any part of it.
Aesthetic defined by me, is anything that appeals to my senses and I can post it on the snap story. This I believe to be the definition that most people of my generation would agree on. With that being said though, everyone has different aesthetics that appeal to them. I find certain hipster coffee shops to be extremely intimidating, considering I don't own a beanie and my pop music taste would be social suicide in a joint like thus. While others dream of a hole in the wall cafe where they can talk about indie bands and hope no one can one up them by naming a band less known. Its all about finding the right type of coffee shop for you.
Today I am going to introduce you to the different types of coffee shop aesthetics.
Hipster Aesthetic
The lights are low, the music is indie and and the beanies are plentiful. This is the hipster aesthetic. I would best describe this feel as one where no one knows each other, but if you act like nothing matters then you'll fit right in. This is not my personal favorite, but if your cool enough and enjoy the more chill vibes of live music then this is for you. Nervous Dog Coffee Bar is a great example of this aesthetic and although not my favorite type of vibe, I do love their Nutty Irish Latte.
Book Nook Aesthetic
Certain coffee shops just make you want to curl up in a ball and read a book. These types of coffee shops usually have shelves of books for you to read or encourage you to bring your own. The lights are usually table and floor lamps and provide just enough light for you and your book while simultaneously being dim enough to set the mood. Whether your reading a thriller or a romance there is a beverage with your name on it. When I was in Dallas over winter break I went to The Wild Detectives which is a bookstore/cafe/bar. It was incredible and combined the love of books and beverages.
Paris Aesthetic
Croissants are plentiful, the bakery almost smells better than the coffee and there is an old man sitting on the outdoor patio with his daily latte soaking up the sun. This is where you go on your day off to take your time and fully embrace coffee shop culture. I suggest going to these ones alone in hopes of running into the man of your dreams or the older woman with a life lesson to give. No need to bring your own mug, they are provided along with the latte art. Holiday Cafe in Paris, France embodies this aesthetic perfectly.
Modern Aesthetic
The espresso machine is so high tech and sleek that you just want to watch it perfectly pull a fresh shot of espresso. The baristas are so incredibly versed in coffee they can look at you and guess your order. This is my favorite type of coffee shop. The art of perfecting the original core values of coffee while modernizing it with efficiency. The cafe I went to when I was in London was located inside Harrods and was called The Coffee Bar. This place was so aesthetically pleasing I couldn't contain myself from taking pictures. 10/10 a must if your in the area.
These are the four categories that of aesthetics that I have found through out my coffee house adventurous thus far in my blogging career. I hope everyone can find something that they enjoy because there is a coffee shop aesthetic for everyone!
